Project Overview
This project at Jalan Ara, Bangsar, showcases EverKitchen’s expertise in customised kitchen cabinets, kitchen islands, built-in storage, and modern home renovation. Featuring dark cabinetry, warm wood finishes, marble-effect surfaces, and illuminated display shelving, the design creates a sophisticated living environment that combines contemporary aesthetics with everyday functionality.
Homeowner Habits & Needs
A well-designed home should support daily cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxation. The kitchen needs sufficient countertop space for meal preparation, organised storage for cooking essentials, and convenient access to appliances. For homeowners who enjoy hosting family and friends, a spacious kitchen island also provides a practical gathering point, while coordinated bedroom furniture helps create a comfortable place to unwind.
Design Challenges & Pain Points
Creating a functional kitchen while maintaining a refined, uncluttered appearance requires careful planning. Multiple appliances and cooking essentials can occupy valuable workspace, while extensive cabinetry may make a kitchen feel visually heavy. Balancing storage, countertop space, and display features is essential to achieving a practical layout that remains visually appealing.
Customised Kitchen Cabinets & Island
The kitchen features sleek dark-toned cabinetry paired with light marble-effect countertops and backsplash surfaces. A spacious island provides additional preparation space while creating a natural connection between the kitchen and dining areas. Integrated appliances and carefully planned cabinet storage help maintain an organised cooking environment, while warm wood finishes soften the darker tones.
Glass Display Cabinets & Integrated Lighting
Glass-front cabinets provide space to display glassware and decorative pieces while adding depth to the kitchen design. Warm integrated lighting highlights the shelving and complements the marble-effect surfaces. The combination of concealed storage and open displays balances everyday practicality with a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic.
Built-In Storage & Wardrobes
Customised full-height cabinetry maximises vertical storage while maintaining a streamlined appearance. Neutral finishes and clean cabinet lines allow the storage units to blend seamlessly with the surrounding interior, helping keep personal belongings organised without overwhelming the space.
Bedroom Design & Ambient Lighting
The bedroom features a distinctive circular headboard backdrop with soft ambient lighting, creating a relaxing focal point. Coordinated neutral finishes and streamlined furniture contribute to a comfortable atmosphere, while built-in wardrobe storage helps maintain an organised and uncluttered room.
