This project at Tulip Residences, Denai Alam, is a bright, warm-toned apartment renovation where EverKitchen delivered a clean, white-forward interior package spanning a TV feature wall with warm LED cove lighting, bedroom wardrobes with a warm-lit display niche, a white high-gloss kitchen, and a compact refrigerator cabinet. Warm amber ceiling cove lighting, white high-gloss cabinetry throughout, and a warm timber headboard panel in the bedroom create a home that feels calm, luminous, and considered without relying on bold contrast or dark tones.
Homeowner Habits & Needs
The homeowners wanted a bright, clean home that felt warm rather than clinical despite its white palette. The living room needed a TV feature wall with a long floating console that could display family photographs and personal objects. The bedroom required a wardrobe run with a personal display niche for collectibles or figurines, and the kitchen needed a practical, fully white layout with sufficient storage. Warm LED cove and strip lighting throughout was central to the brief, giving the apartment its warmth after sundown.
Design Challenges & Pain Points
Designing a predominantly white interior that reads as warm and personal rather than sterile requires precision in the lighting placement and material layering. Warm amber LED strip lighting recessed into the ceiling cove above the TV feature wall, beneath the floating TV console, and inside the bedroom wardrobe display niche does the work of preventing the white surfaces from feeling cold. A warm timber headboard panel in the bedroom introduces a natural material accent that grounds the all-white palette with a single warm tone.
TV Feature Wall & Living Area
The living room TV feature wall features a large grey-toned flat panel behind the TV, framed by white flat-panel cabinetry on either side. A long floating white high-gloss console runs the full width of the TV wall, providing a generous surface for framed family photographs, media remotes, and personal objects. Warm LED strip lighting is recessed beneath the floating console, casting a warm amber wash along the floor below. Warm ceiling cove lighting runs along the top of the TV wall and across the living room ceiling perimeter, filling the room with soft ambient light and preventing the white walls from reading as cool under artificial lighting. Sheer cream curtains at the windows soften the natural daylight during the day.
Bedroom Wardrobe & Display Niche
The master bedroom features floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes in white high-gloss flat panels with slim black bar handles, with a recessed open display niche built into the wardrobe face at eye level. The niche is backlit with warm amber LED strip lighting and styled with small figurines and personal collectibles, creating a warm-lit display moment within the otherwise flat-panel wardrobe surface. A warm timber veneer headboard panel is mounted on the wall behind the bed, introducing a natural material contrast to the white wardrobe and white walls and giving the bedroom a warm, hotel-suite quality.
Kitchen Cabinets & Refrigerator Cabinet
The kitchen features white high-gloss flat-panel upper and lower cabinetry across the full kitchen wall, creating a seamless, bright cooking space. A compact white refrigerator is housed within a dedicated built-in refrigerator cabinet in matching white high-gloss cabinetry, integrating the appliance flush into the kitchen cabinetry line and keeping the kitchen wall consistent in surface and finish. The white high-gloss cabinetry reflects light across the kitchen, reinforcing the bright, clean aesthetic of the apartment throughout.
